"crypto is dead" feels like something i've seen many times now, and the answer is it never really dies to understand why it doesn't die (and why it always comes back) you have to be a believer in the concept of "price first, narrative second" the thing about crypto is, it's an absolutely tiny asset class, and it does not take a large amount of capital to pump it...to put that into context the entire market cap of crypto ($2.68T) is below just a single stock, AMZN ($2.85T) if you believe in the 4y cycle (which i fully do having made the mistake twice in a row), you'll also buy into the belief that a lot of price action is governed by BTC whales...these guys decide to sell when the cycle is over, but they also decide to buy to get it going again and just when it feels like crypto has nothing going for it, when BTC goes back to 80K, then 90K, then 100K...which it will...suddenly the narrative starts to look sexier and inevitably there will be new fundamental positive factors that we're possibly not even aware of that come to light i think it's a mistake to call crypto over...the longer it lasts the more likely it is to last forever...and there are big players in the game...way bigger than you or i or anyone dicking around on CT...who can essentially create outcomes should they wish these thoughts should not be conflated with "everything is immediately going higher right now", maybe there could be further downside (altho my gut says we've seen the lows already), and they often take time to play out (as they have done in past cycles). but just remember, it only takes a couple of people to start a party, and people like to party.

The greatest irony of this cycle will be boomers outperforming cryptards over the past year with equities, just for cryptards to sell the bottom of crypto to enter the top of equities, while the boomers sell them the top of equities to enter crypto at the bottom, outperforming them twice in a single cycle.
