One thing I’d love to see tonight is big Pat getting more involved on offense. One thing I was surprised by was that St. John’s really limited his impact on that side of the ball, even with him being the tallest player on the floor.

Feels like UCONN has to hit threes tomorrow to win. They shot 43% yesterday and it was enough to barely hang on against Michigan State. I think they’ll need another strong outside shooting performance if they want to keep up with Duke.

For what it’s worth I thought St John’s played a near perfect game last night. They hit 13 threes at a highly efficient percentage. Great game plan and they executed well. Really impressive that Duke was able to get the win. St. John’s had no business being a 5 seed

Isaiah Evans had a flat out masterpiece today. SO efficient , shot 4-8 from 3 and made some of the most CLUTCH shots I’ve ever seen a Duke player make. Amazing stuff. (Just make that first free throw okay😅)

honestly don’t have a single problem with how Duke played first half, really. the Johnnies just made shots. let’s hope they aren’t the dynasty Warriors in the second half.

Oddly enough, getting offense hasn’t been the problem tonight. It’s just been keeping the ball long enough to get a shot (and St. John’s getting hot from outside) No panic button yet as we’ve seen what types of runs this Duke team can go on

St. John’s with 6 unanswered points to end the half was bad. But ask yourself this, if before the game I told you St. John’s was gonna hit nine threes on 50% shooting from the outside in the first half, and Duke is gonna be down by 1, I think I may have taken that.

St. John’s should be thanking their stars they’re even in this game. They’re shooting near 50% from three. SO uncharacteristic for them. Don’t overcorrect in the second half. Keep locking in and Duke will win. And if Duke hits some threes… night night

Good start! Getting easy looks against a great defense. St. John’s is fortunate to have scored those last couple point. I don’t know if they have the shooters to settle for jump shots. Need more help on these inbounds plays, no reason only one guy should be in the backcourt

This is just nuts. If what Caleb Foster is doing, doesn’t inspire the heck out of the rest of guys on the team, then we’ve got the wrong guys. Incredible motivation for tomorrow.

If Caleb can even give us 10 minutes on Friday that would be huge. I would use him sparingly, but look for him to be an extra ball handler against St. John's press, and also as an additional 3-point shooter on the outside. Let's hope he can come back.
