If there was a third team, it would be: Tyrese Proctor, Matthew Hurt, Mark Williams, Jared McCain, Maliq Brown

First and second team All-Duke for the 2020s 😈 1st team: Tre/Coop/P5/Cam/Flip 2nd: Roach/Slim/Dell/Kon/Vern Positions are ignored and the teams aren’t necessarily in any order. Accomplishments and impact AT DUKE are the biggest considerations. What would you change?

@bomberjacket5 I understand why, but from a standpoint of accomplishments + impact he clearly belongs. It’s not necessarily the better player, it’s the better and more impactful Duke career

@Duke_Wisdom No offense but I think we are all at least changing the same player on that 1st team.

@IveyBrooks Vernon/Flip was admittedly my closest call. Flip having two years and 1,000 career points is what helped him. Plus a few other accolades

@devinclark23 Went Roach because he’s a four-year guy with 1,400+ points and was All-ACC. Also, Kyle was an All-American and the best players for two years running. Again, a 1K point scorer

@IveyBrooks Good chance that’s true to start the season. Starters could be more flexible this season, though, and it will be difficult to keep either Caleb or Cayden out. Lineup combos based on matchup will be more important than finding a set five, imo

@youngl1on1 Day one, I agree. But I think Cayden’s upside, plus the fact that he is the most effective distributor of the bunch gives him the best shot to start by March

Loyola-Maryland transfer guard Jacob Theodosiou has committed to Duke 😈 The 6-foot-4 senior is Jon Scheyer’s third acquisition in the transfer portal this season. He averaged 13.1 ppg in 2025-26
