The fact Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe beat Kaunda and UNIP in 1971 for the Mufulira west seat without being allowed in Mufulira to Campaign showed he was a powerhouse in Zambian politics. If only they were open to divergent views he would have been the President of Zambia at some point

@mutachali Whenever I say upnd's agenda is for them to increase the term for presidency and let HH rule beyond the Normal term a lot argue. This is there clear agenda and I say this with a heavy heart 🤕 removing him from power won't be easy 🥺💀 very sad states of affairs 🥺

Why is the upnd undermining the process that got them into power? The most recent Luena withdrawals gave me thoughts, but not surprised. Independent candidates who are openly UPND loyalists have been pulling out of races, it is nothing but a coordinated pruning of the ballot /1
