@Zwelinzima1 So now it's a scandal bcos it hit home? South Africans has been saying this all the time bt you don't listen that's nothing it's just a tip of an iceberg! And you call us xenophobic when we take the matter to the streets.
English

Just below our noses, this is what is happening.
Deputy Minister Jomo Sibiya led a joint inspection team involving labour inspectors, immigration officials, and the police visiting a sawmilling company called Lowpal Timbers in Thaba Chwewu Municipality (Mbombela) What they uncovered is nothing short of a scandal and indictment to unions, government, political parties, including local government:
1. Out of 66 workers, only 12 were South African, despite the law being clear that foreign recruitment should be limited to genuinely scarce skills.
2. Workers have suffered severe injuries, including the loss of fingers and limbs.
3. Not a single injured worker was compensated. The employer registered them and deducted for compensation, but never paid those funds into the Compensation Fund. One worker was injured way back in 2013 - 13 years ago!!! He is still there - not compensated, not counselled - nothing!
4. All of the injured workers are undocumented. As SAFTU has consistently warned, some employers do not hire undocumented workers out of goodwill; they do so because they are easier to exploit and silence.
5. GIWUSA, a SAFTU-affiliated union, has attempted to organise this workplace, but fear is widespread. Workers are too afraid of losing their jobs to stand up.
6. The employer has now been arrested, and the company shut down without workers losing their wages. Compensation will need to be paid to those injured.
This is exploitation in its rawest form, unfolding openly.
We need to return to the drawing board. Unions only organise a quarter of workers today. Something has gone very wrong. But we can still turn it around.

@Am_Blujay Mandela has a grandson by the name of Gaddafi Mandela... So does it mean he's from Libya?
English

I’m not saying it’s true but the name has a strong cultural connection in Mozambique because of history and language.
Mozambique was a Portuguese colony, and Portuguese is still its official language today. Jacinta is a Portuguese name, so it became common in Mozambique through that colonial and linguistic influence.

Apparently her dad is from Mozambique 🇲🇿 😕 🙄

I am happy to be called a disgrace for supporting the only President in the world willing to stand for my people.
@realDonaldTrump : 🫡

Stew Peters@realstewpeters
REPORTER: “What do you say to the American people who question how much longer this will take?” TRUMP: “You’re such a disgrace. Did you hear what I just said? How many years was Vietnam?” Trump is a disgrace and so is anyone that’s still defending him.

I wish the Madlanga Commision can investigate the Lotto guys, we have been fooled for over a decade now with no end in sight.
🇿🇦TheGreatDlamini🇿🇦@Phislash
Growing up, we had real people in our neighborhoods that won the lotto and we saw the instant result. Now it's been over 10 years any such has happened where I come from. Scam? When was the last you heard of anyone in your neighborhood that won the lottery guys?

The American Dream vs. The SA Reality 🇿🇦🇺🇸
4,500 Afrikaners enter the US as refugees between October 2025 and March 2026. However, the conditions they face are vastly different from those who move on professional work visas. But the "grass is greener" myth is fading fast.
📉 The Hard Numbers:
• $2,000 Stipend: That’s the "startup" cash. In the US, that barely covers 1 month of rent in a basic suburb.
🤦♂️ 70% of expats now realize their money goes further in SA and are planning their return."
● To match a R50k/pm lifestyle in SA, you need nearly $7,500 (R140k) in the US just to stay level.
Many are finding that SA’s quality of life, family, space, and community—beats struggling in a moldy Florida apartment.

“There’s no South African who chases down Nigerians because they’re Nigerian, it’s not true. They chase down all drug dealers from both Nigeria and South Africa, and report them to the police. When the police don’t act, the community takes the law into its own hands, it happens like that.” - President Thabo Mbeki 🇿🇦

@Absolute_Kganki @TMFoundation_ Thank you President Mbeki for putting matters in perspective maybe your voice will make them listen!

South Africans are among the few Africans who hardly travel outside their country in search of greener pastures, as they believe they are better equipped with jobs and a stronger economy.
I understand them to some extent. If it weren't for wicked and corrupt leaders, Nigeria would have been a better country than theirs.
the truth is that no country in the world truly wants foreigners. they just want you to come for a short lived vacation and then return to your home country.
instead of being angry at what South Africans are doing to us, let's fix our own country too. let's start by getting ready to vote out bad government in the next election.
we have everything that'll help this country progress in this country we just need the right people not greedy b@stards.
enough is enough!!!!!

So President Ramaphosa just appointed Lt Gen Puleng Dimpane as Acting National Commissioner of SAPS.
Why her? And more importantly ..; what does the president stand to gain?
Look at her background:
·Degree in Commerce & Honours in Business Admin.
·Spent years as SAPS CFO ..; great with spreadsheets, budgets, and audits.
But leading the entire police service? Fighting crime? Strategy against gangs, violent protests, cash-in-transit heists? Nothing.
She joined SAPS in 2007 ..; yes, almost 20 years. But she never bothered to get a single degree in policing, criminology, law enforcement, or public safety. Not even a diploma.
So now she's supposed to be the country's top cop?
This isn't about merit. It's about control. Ramaphosa wants someone who won't rock the boat, who'll clean up "procurement" (i.e., hide the paper trail), and who owes her position to him.
She's a financial manager ..; not a crime fighter. This is like making your accountant the army general.
She’s not fit for the job.
Agree or disagree?

The outcry by some governments actually confirms what South Africans want from their own government.
The Ghanaian government is looking out of the economic interests and wellbeing of Ghanaians, both in Ghana and abroad.
South African want the same from their own government in their own country, and South African government is failing on this hence people are standing up to advocate for their own interests.
This is a reminder, governments takes care and prioritises interests of their own citizens no matter what. Perhaps this should be a lesson for the South African government.
