Finished re-watching Regular Show. Still one of the best, absolute BEST animated shows ever to exist. Moving on to an absolute childhood favorite: Genndy Tartakovsky's Samurai Jack.

Every creative person I know that has embraced AI as a tool for their art has produced more content this month than all of last year. A true creative individual sees AI and feels completely empowered. They feel like the entire world has opened up to them. But a lot of self professed creative people, who have been grifting as creatives for decades, are about to be exposed as frauds who and pretenders who only know how to work within the politics of the current system. They will sit down before the greatest tool for creativity the world has ever known and not have a single idea how to use it or what story to tell. Pay attention to what is happening and who rejects the gift, and who embraces it.

17. Liuzhou pavilion《柳州亭》where I came up with "tarkára pingált kéjtutaj" for 画舫 i.e. "gaily painted pleasure boat". Because of the language barrier I can't convey why this is so hilarious in Hungarian, but I am keeping it in translation. Zhang Dai was noted for his humor.

Oh gosh these people are losers.

Aside from the obvious quality, another reason Samurai Jack is one of the best animated series of all time is they dared to go out on an extremely non-happy ending, a heart wrenching one even. Just finished it and as before, it left me completely hollow. In the best way possible.

@DullClayCutter no those would be 异体字 not actual simplified, some of the combination of characters used here would make this MODERN simplified not historical simplified like the ones you say that date back to even pre-han.

On the way to the gym got scratched by a street kitty. Bought betadine at a pharmacy, they helped me clean it out and bandage it. Ditched the gym and went to the ER to get appointment for a tetanus shot and anti-rabies vaccine. I don't fuck around. Still love kitties forever.

@JVartndesign @bimbocommunist Being Hungarian minority in Romania made me bilingual by birth, English and Chinese I strapped on along the years, but since I was born in 1986 and was surrounded by English from childhood, I don't really count it as "another language". My generation was already immersed in it.

Often it's not clear how one or other variant of a character came about. In a new update to 以观书法, the app now displays a lot of alternative variants by default when you look up characters. I am telling you, this is the best character dictionary app I ever came across.
