@TimingCharts Great catch, thank you! Indeed some tickers get Yahoo Finance exchange codes (NYQ, NMS, ASE…) instead of the standard names, which breaks TradingView uploads. Please open a PR with your fix, happy to merge it. This will help everyone using the repo for watchlist imports 🙏

Excellent work here Fred, I used this repo to create a screen for my Trading View watchlist. I ran into an issue though with Exchange mapping... Title: Exchange codes from Yahoo Finance not mapped correctly for TradingView Description: The RS CSV output includes exchange data from Yahoo Finance, but the codes aren't being translated to standard exchange names. This causes TradingView upload to fail for stocks like BW (shows NASDAQ instead of NYSE). Example mappings needed: - NYQ → NYSE - ASE → AMEX - NMS/NCM → NASDAQ - ARC → NYSE ARCA - BTS → BATS I have a working Python mapping and can contribute a fix if helpful.

What you can screen for: • RS Rating ≥ 90-80 -> IBD-style Rs Scores • Sector / Industry -> find leaders in themes • AvgVol50 -> filter by liquidity • Cap/float-> Filters by C/F • PctFrom52WkHigh -> near highs vs extended • ShortFloatPct -> heavily shorted names

@dipen6888 🔧 What we (Claude Sonnet 4.6 ((and I)) ) fixed: • Python 3.8 → 3.11 (the root cause) • Batch downloads: 100 tickers/call instead of 1 → 25 min instead of hours • NASDAQ ticker list via HTTPS (old FTP was unreliable) • curl_cffi to bypass Yahoo Finance anti-bot blocks

@SteveDJacobs Hi Steve! Thanks for the many references and compliments. I like what you share too! Currently, the problem has not been resolved, but I still maintain the variables that allow the script to be accurate on a weekly basis. I need to find the time to make it automatic again.

@jfsrevg Morning Jeff. I have found the RS Ratings indicator by @DumbleDax an indispensable tool, a game-changer! Unfortunately this morning it seems to to be way off in accurately representing the RS value against IDB when in the past it was close if not spot-on. Do you find that as well?
