I decided to look into the claim that oftentimes in the US, non-white criminals are reported as white in the US - expecting it to be an exaggerated meme basically. After just a brief poke around some states criminal DBs, it seems that it actually may be a rampant issue. Here are just 4 examples with more posted below.
