@AlbertoSal9 @pl_evil and the problem is: they're not superior to OGs, actually every one of them is worse in almost every way, which is a problem to a "artistic integrity" side of stuff AND to the future of the franchise since RE9 wasn't good, it was mid at best

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Resident Evil series, Capcom has announced a new 46-centimeter Nemesis statue. The set includes an interchangeable head by the Tyrant's classic look, along with extra arms. The release is scheduled for December 10, 2026. Pre-orders have already launched in Japan, with the figure priced at 49,478 yen.

@Mr__Jamie @mastur_nate @pl_evil well that's what they are lol, all of them are like fine games on their own (even 3), you can even prefer them for all I care, but it doesn't really matter since they are meant to be superior to OGs which they fail to do completely, so demake is an accurate term here

@Zizoplays1 basically iykyk situation since there's A LOT to cover, you'll struggle to find a game that rly needs a remake but MGS3 wasn't one of them in any way shape or form so yea, basically it's soulless, doesn't help that it also looks 1:1 to those pachinko MGS' lol but it surely fits

Can someone tell me what's specifically wrong with delta's graphics instead of going "loss of stylization"? Because this game has an actual style.
I know people have an issue with remake culture, but I just can't wrap my head around some of the criticisms with this one.

Scream 4 was so bad until the ending hitted and I've understood it all: nonexistent characters, bland plot, basically 0 to none "soul", and the overuse of swears (f-bombs from Halloween 2016, Saw X etc)
too late for the horror movie party with this, but not on the videogame one..

@NobodyIsOurGuy oh and also, the game is actually beautiful, like first two levels (train one is peak lmao) on Leon's campaign are so robust, they have more color in them then the entirety of RE9, it's definitely worth it, "sloppish" games from 10y ago are built differently from today's slop

@NobodyIsOurGuy I'm on Leon's campaign rn and it has a lot of scripted sequences which are dumb but funny af if you're in coop, but when there's gunkata gameplay it's amazing (on Veteran and above), mb Chris' campaign will have less QTE's so yea, or dive into Mercs they're gonna be pure fun 100%

I'm genuinely an RE6 tourist because my brother and I gave up after 1 hour 14 years ago. Is this game actually worth anything or is a "Pretend you're playing a different franchise" kinda deal?
