@waystarroyhoe they do this for uber rides too. i’m epileptic and can’t drive, so i rely on uber to commute every day. if it’s like the day before payday and i don’t check my acct, it’ll still give me a ride and say “this one’s on us, hit us back next time”

accidentally used a frozen card for my uber eats order and even though it declined they still processed it because i’m a “valued eater”
