@StatisticUrban You could compare NY’s and London’s Financial Districts and see they’re actually quite similar. The comparator for London’s Zone One would be Manhattan; again quite similar - massively over/cooked but still where most of the action is.

London is an fascinating city, because unlike most, a lot of the most interesting stuff is in Zone 2. The urban core of London is really touristy, commercial.
I guess vaguely reminiscent of how hardly anyone actually lives in Manhattan's Financial District.

Outer London includes wider roads with faster traffic and higher speed limits - it’s as simple as that.
