london housing has two paths. social housing or your parents gifting you a £300k deposit for a 2 bed in clapham. there is no in between. the middle class doesn’t own property here it just pays someone else’s mortgage

@anon_opin Interesting that you picked out public school boys, rather than say working class men, considering rugby is played at every school in the country and most towns have a rugby union team played by people from all walks of life.

Rugby Union is popular because it gives public school boys the chance to touch each other's bottoms.

@CetiAlphaFumf @arenella1 You just helped prove the point. What you say may be true, but quelle surprise, both pairs are states within a single-currency federation but 🇮🇹 and 🇫🇷 have a land border - Mississippi and Maine are over 1,000m apart. QED

What are Bayern Munich putting in their water? Michael Olise went from Crystal Palace reject to £170M in 18 months. He's not the fastest. He's not the biggest. He's not the most physical. But watch his first touch. His body shape. The way he receives the ball. That's not luck. That's thousands of hours of technical work. Pure technique is what £170M looks like now. The game has changed. Have you?

@StatisticUrban You could compare NY’s and London’s Financial Districts and see they’re actually quite similar. The comparator for London’s Zone One would be Manhattan; again quite similar - massively over/cooked but still where most of the action is.

London is an fascinating city, because unlike most, a lot of the most interesting stuff is in Zone 2. The urban core of London is really touristy, commercial. I guess vaguely reminiscent of how hardly anyone actually lives in Manhattan's Financial District.

I promised a Europe vs UK comparison. 👇Here it is 🤯The difference in central density between Paris & London is striking. The other massive stand out is Brussels vs the likes of Manchester/Birmingham.

@_Murphy_Dan @StatisticUrban You can’t drive above 20mph in most of inner London, by law and traffic flow. Outer London includes wider roads with faster traffic and higher speed limits - it’s as simple as that.

@StatisticUrban What’s interesting to me is how less safe it is once you leave the inner core. Removing the inner core, Greater London is about 1/2 as safe as the inner core.

@theRealNoaMD @hayfarani @AnnCoulter The same Christian Maronites Israel tried to install in 82 that committed the Sabra and Shatila massacres that led to the forming of Hezbollah in the first place…? 🤦

That’s the price of buying a home in the Middle East. Especially in Lebanon or other country with a terrorist stronghold. My Christian Lebanese friends with families and friends in Lebanon are all approving of Israel bombing Hezbollah. Even the ones who have lost homes in the bombings. Why aren’t you? Or does your little apartment carry more worth than human lives in Lebanon? Very Hezbollah-like tweet.

I am a US citizen & Surgeon who took care of the Boston Maraton Bombing victims in 2013. I paid for 7 years to own a small apartment in downtown #Beirut for my 3 kids to enjoy summers there. Today, #Israel reduced my dream home to rubble, with american weapons, paid by my taxes.

Can somebody help Novara Media's, Rivkah Brown to join the dots. The same private equity firm that owns Gail's owns Burger King. No broken windows at Burger King. No pro-Pal graffiti either. Burger King doesn't have a Jewish founder.

If that hidden track is so great, why is it hidden? If it's not so good, why is it on the album at all? Please send this opin back in time to about 1995 many thanks

@anon_opin I always thought it strange that Harrison and Lennon - the two Beatles who were keenest to go solo - both ran out of steam within a couple of years, while McCartney - who was desperate to keep the band together - went on to be the most successful.

All Things Must Pass is one of the most overrated albums of all time. Not because it's crap, it isn't, it's good. But it's not what people often use it as - proof that Harrison was a better songwriter than Lennon and McCartney.
