Having failed to get the Grey Phalarope on my garden/house list yesterday I was lucky enough to add the Sabine's Gull to it today.

Following my previous Tweet about Challenge passing Dungeness, in between train spotting and bird watching I was a ship spotter for 25 years, still have all the records and just checked, I first saw Challenge on the Thames at Tilbury in 1956, where has all that time gone.

The Challenge just gone by Dungeness, built 1931 and the last steam tug to operate on the Thames.

A juvenile Ringed Plover joined me on the beach at Dengemarsh this morning, the parents were not far away.

One of the Glossy Ibis performed well this morning at ARC Dungeness.

Both the Black Redstart and Wheatear still performing well in my Dungeness garden this afternoon.

The usual daily visit from the Black Redstart to my Dungeness garden, looks as if he is feeding young this morning.
