Passwords are securely hashed and stored in he database. Since hashing is a one-way function, system cannot recover the password once it is forgotten by users. Only way is replace the old hash value with new value in database. For this, our system needs to allow a password reset rather than a recovery. So we provide ways to change the hash value by options like "Forget Password" or "Reset Password" etc. When the user clicks on these options, the system will verify other details of user like username, email and date of birth etc and provide temporary token. Once it is verified, it allows to update the password and then it will generate a new hash of updated password and stores it in the database.

I LOVE Midnight so far, but I think in general folks can still agree that they’re still struggling with a particular thing in the writing: in a continuous narrative setting, characters cannot simply stop existing while offscreen. The Horde can’t just not show up, w no reasoning.

This might be a hot take, but I think the care center might genuinely be one of if not the best survival horror location possibly ever. It’s on the same level of Spencer Mansion, and Brookhaven Hospital imo
