@daanysaeed The season doesn’t start for two weeks. Most people will register over the next two weeks. As you point out no one can agree the definition of ‘western Sydney’ does it include North West? South West? Inner West?

Noting the response to this. I have a source with knowledge of the actual figures describing the figures here as “complete bullshit”. Last year AFL Sydney juniors had around 11 teams across the mixed U13 competitions that would reasonably be considered west or fall in Giants zone

@VinceRugari @CapitalCityCody No junior numbers are falling in Swans heartland too. The numbers are being puffed up by calling any kid who participated in a school program a ‘participant’ actual playing numbers for juniors are down.

@Dunno760 @CapitalCityCody I’m pretty sure the rest of Sydney is going well, particularly Swans heartland. But yes, investment dropped off after COVID as AFL pulled back spending across the board, and only in the last 12-18 months has that been acknowledged and addressed.
