Family Of Teenage Patient Sought: Durban - KZN Social workers at Addington Hospital in Durban - KwaZulu-Natal are attempting to locate the family of a 17 year old female identified as Mamelo Sibiya who was admitted to the medical facility after 21:00 on Thursday, 14/05/2026. Sibiya was found confused on Stanger Street in the Durban CBD - KwaZulu-Natal and transported to hospital by Paramedics. She informed medical personnel that she resides near Khumbayi High School in the Umbumbulu/Adams Mission area on the KZN South Coast. She stated that she lives with her brother, Vukile Sibiya, and has two (2) sisters identified as Gugu and Samkelisiwe. She was however unable to provide contact numbers or further information regarding her relatives. #WANTED SAPS Intensifies Manhunt for Alleged Social Media Predator: Police are searching for 32-year-old Lloyd Mcdonald Siswe Jacobs, who is wanted for rape and conspiracy to commit murder. A 35-year-old woman allegedly met Jacobs, who used the alias “Shane Carson” on Facebook, before visiting his flat in Navalsig, Bloemfontein, on 11 May 2025. Police say he allegedly drugged her drink, raped her in the bathroom, and she later managed to escape. Investigators believe the suspect used multiple fake social media profiles to lure and attack women. He is also wanted in a separate Parkweg SAPS case after allegedly threatening to kill an investigating officer. A warrant for his arrest has been issued by the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court. Police have warned the public not to approach him, describing him as dangerous.
