🇵🇰🔴 Today, once again, a doctor and her young son were killed in Kunar in an attack attributed to the Pakistani regime.
According to the doctor’s brother, she had messaged him saying, “I haven’t eaten properly for days. I’ll come to your house for Eid and finally have something to eat.” Tragically, despite the declared ceasefire, forces opened fire on this innocent family, killing them both.
This is not just a human tragedy’ it is a clear violation of the ceasefire. Acts like this undermine any hope for peace and must be strongly condemned. Otherwise, the situation risks escalating into a larger conflict one whose consequences may be far-reaching and unresolved until the broader regional issues are addressed.
