Durfee Track and Field

The FRYBA is pleased to announce that we will be hosting summer basketball clinics this summer.  The camps will be under the direction of Durfee Basketball Coaches Jeff Caron and Jameson Guimond. @FRPSsupt @DurfeeAthletics

Shayla Harrison finished 23rd in the 100. Anjola Olubanwo finished 18 in the 400 meter dash. The 4x400 team of Yentz, Mia Melendez, Harrison, and Olubanwo finished 12 in the relay event, running a season best time. @DurfeeAthletics @Chezsports @BayStateRun @BostonHeraldHS

The school record was held by Barbara DaCunha Silva. Jasmine finished third overall in the event. DoSouto has now qualified for the MIAA All-State Meet of Champions in both the discus and shot put. Presley Yentz finished 19th in the 100 meter dash and 20th in the 200 meter dash

On Thursday afternoon, Jasmine DoSouto finished third in the discus with a season best throw of 117’ 08”. On Saturday afternoon, DoSouto set a new school record in the shot put with a throw of 36’ 9.75” also breaking a 40 year old senior record set in 1985 by Audrey Drewett.

Owen Moniz finishes 12th in the 1000 meter run at the @MSTCA1 Large School Coaches Invitational at Reggie Lewis. His 2:40.98 was a full 3 second personal record. Great to see Owen’s hard work paying off! @DurfeeAthletics @Chezsports

Presley Yentz finished 8th in the 55 meter dash at the @MSTCA1 Large School Coaches Invitational at Reggie Lewis. She ran a 7.46 in the prelims, setting a new personal record for this season. She will compete again in two weeks at the Big Three Conference Championships.

the 4x200 meter relay (1:51.09). The 4x200 team ran their way to an 8th place finish earning themselves their first medal of the season This time also qualified them for the D1 MIAA Championships in February. The team will return to Reggie Lewis for the MSTCA State Coaches Invite

The Durfee Girls' Track broke two relay records for the program Friday night at the Reggie Lewis Athletic Center. The group of Thysh Garcia Martinez, Presley Yentz, Shayla Harrison, and Aaliyah Alexandre combined to set the new school records in the 4x50 shuttle relay (25.90)
