Morning good people! We’re excited to introduce our new, 2nd house lager to our draught line-up! @AlmastyBrewCo ‘s German Pilsner This is a traditional German style Pilsner brewed with the finest German malt. It is VERY tasty! 👌 Anyhoo…..as always, we’re open from 10am!

Morning! Unfortunately, given the current weather and road conditions around the Durham area, we’re not going to be able to open the pub today as it’s too dangerous for staff to attempt to get in. If anything changes we’ll update you. Thanks Team TWR x

Major engineering works on railway for next 5 weekends starting tmrw. No trains north/south from Durham - replacement buses running! @LNER are allowing access up to platform 2 so you can still enjoy a pint. Travelling or a local Would be great to see you! Open Saturday 11-7pm

Just a reminder that we’re closing at 6pm this evening as the station will be closing from then due to the rail strike! But in the meantime, the sun is shining and it’s hot in our outside area! Open from 11am!

Just taken delivery of our own new @almastybrewingco DHM Session IPA! As expected, it’s top notch! At 4% it’s exactly what’s called for during this weather!

It’s our 4th BIRTHDAY today and what a journey eh! We’d like to thank everyone who has supported us, visited us, supplied us and helped us in any way. And a massive shout-out to staff, past and present, who make the place what it is! Thanks to @LNER - mint landlords 👌

Just a reminder that we’re closed again today and tomorrow (Saturday and Sunday) as there are NO TRAINS running to/from Durham due to planned engineering works. The station is effectively closed. There is a replacement bus service running north to Newcastle and south to York!

@Shinybiscuit @SHLandlady On the other hand we opened @StationHouseDHM in 2015 on a prominent road junction and we still get locals saying 'didn't know this was here, must be new' 🤷‍♂️
