You can study the $Jibbly story, it is nothing like the typical projects you see.
Jibbly was born after I shared my journey in crypto and life with my daughter Sofia. She drew a cute creature and gave it a name.
Launching a token was her own desire, as she has been familiar with memecoins and NFTs since she was 3 years old.
Technically, she is the youngest memecoin co-founder in the world.
The wallets were created by her, transparently, without violating Phantom rules, and under my full supervision.
I launched the token on @Pumpfun in full compliance with the platform’s rules.
Jibbly is not just a drawing, it is a belief in one’s own convictions and dreams, and in people who can see the light even in the toughest moments. It is a symbol of hope for our family, believing that kindness is stronger.
Jibbly launched in late November with a $0 budget.
My 6-year-old daughter and I are fully doxxed.
I spent my last liquidity to launch it, bought the jibbly.sol (SNS domain) for community safety, and initially locked 1% of the tokens bought from the dev wallet.
Funds were also sent to the MW wallet to pay for DEX fees once the community core was formed.
Together, my daughter and I have been creating physical art, AI PFPs, memes, trailers, short videos, and the website. We always provide video proof of her painting the art live. This is not some freelance work, it is made from the heart.
I have been solo without a team, handling all the posts and X raids. Some people gave us minimal support until a certain point.
In early December, an OG noticed us, and the project gained massive momentum after his buy.
I am grateful to him and everyone who supported us.
However, most people are impatient, and many did not understand what Jibbly is about because they did not want to dive into the story, and I partially understand them.
I locked about $40k worth of tokens at ATH that were sent to Sofia’s donation wallet. Per the disclaimer in the metadata "Donations to Sofia’s wallet are voluntary and non-refundable", I could have LEGALLY sold those tokens into the volume.
But I am an OG and I value the culture.
Without a second thought, after a public community vote, I locked 10% of those donated tokens until 2037 via Streamflow.
There is an issue with how the lock displays in TG checkers and some terminals. I have contacted the Streamflow team about this, and I appreciate their feedback. If traders are not able to check on-chain, I cannot force them to.
Ask yourself: if your family was in a dire financial situation, would you have done the same?
I doubt most people would answer that honestly.
Many people messaged me about creator fees and how I should manage them.
$Jibbly is the only source of income for my family, but you can check the wallets and see that almost all funds are still there, except for a gift my daughter had long dreamed of and MW expenses like boosts, ads, and moby. Everything is transparent and easy to verify.
Because I was solo without a team, chaos broke out during the "mass love" phase from traders and promo-spammers. This affected moderation and our next steps, which naturally impacted the price.
Jibbly is the first and only project I have launched, and I did it for my daughter’s dream.
I am not a professional memecoin dev, I am a degen.
Before Jibbly, I had not studied the mechanics of building memecoin projects. I might not know everything, but I am honest about it.
My lack of knowledge in certain areas drives me to learn something new every day and connect with many people from the space behind the scenes.
I am building a team now. My meticulous approach slows things down, but my fam is doxxed, and I want to work with people who have a reputation, not spammers and fakes.
The TG chat is currently closed, and all communication happens only in our X community. It is open to anyone, but I set it to "request to join" to get a break from the spammers who constantly attacked us. It also ensures that those who join have at least minimally looked into the project.
I have received many offers to relaunch token with different cabal teams, but my answer is ALWAYS the same:
I DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN BACKROOM GAMES OR SHADY DEALS.
My daughter and I are doxxed. If you want to become a holder or part of the community, you can do so without those kinds of offers.
You do not have to buy the token, we appreciate every like and kind word.
Key differences of $Jibbly:
- Transparency.
Wallets and doxxed team, 11% of supply locked until 2037.
- Communication.
My daughter and I are always talking to the community, I try to answer everyone in DMs.
- Uniqueness.
Jibbly is a unique story born on X, pure childhood art, not a derivative of a trending memecoin. It was created by a little girl and her degen father who has had his own rough journey.
I am a trader, a degen, and an NFT holder, not an outsider to this space who doesn't understand the basics. I understand the culture and this community.
- Honesty. Only ONE token was created from the dev wallet, not multiple tokens with different names and descriptions. We are not serial deployers; we are first-time creators. If we had different values, we would be launching random cats and other nonsense from the dev wallet to get sniped after the previous pump. But we aren't here for that.
- No Exploitation.
Sofia has NEVER recorded a video asking anyone to buy the token - only art and communication with the community, sharing holiday wishes and sincere love for the people who supported us.
This is her OWN desire, just like the desire to create the token, which I helped her realize.
She has no social media, and if we wanted HYPE, we would have created TikTok or YouTube accounts and done unacceptable things with "buy" calls, like in the viral Ryan video, to get millions of views.
But we are OGs; our convictions and values are stronger than that, and we will stay that way. If my daughter has social media in the future, it won't be connected to Jibbly, it will only be about her as an individual, showing herself and her art.
- Livestream.
We didn’t go live on Pumpfun because it violates the platform’s rules, and we could lose our creator fees for that.
Many people kept messaging us about streaming on Pumpfun, not realizing how important this project is to us. We follow the rules, and we won’t go live on Pumpfun just for the sake of hype.
We will go live on X when the opportunity arises, following their streaming guidelines.
Another reason is my health, it has taken a hit due to lack of sleep (as I mentioned in my thread about my arachnoid cyst), and Sofia has been recovering from a cold, but thank God she is getting better now.
- The Goal.
My daughter and I have a dream.
This is not just hype for the sake of hype, it is an ambition to turn a childhood drawing into a legitimate IP brand.
We want to develop Jibbly as a media franchise, producing real-world toys and creating high-quality content.
We also want to help people once we have the opportunity and resources to do so, while building a long-term legacy.
In conclusion:
"Hard times create strong men. Strong men create easy times. Easy times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times."
Happy holidays to everyone. Health and heart, from the bottom of our hearts 🎄❤️
