@mweinbach Looks like a heat gun, hot air gun, silver tip makes it look less like a hair dryer of which would be too wide of an air flow and have least control of the heat temp. Why does that fist photo have the cord disappear?

I'm sorry but this super micro thing is awful but parts of it are genuinely hilarious They literally used a hair dryer to move serial numbers from real servers to dummy servers to throw in a warehouse and got caught on camera

just another week of poor @optimum @OptimumHelp service in our area where they refuse to deploy fiber. ps, Do not ask me to DM you anything. You know who I am, you refuse to explain why you wont deploy fiber, you've failed small neighborhoods.

@DustinFinn @cqcqcqdx I’ve been looking at his builds for a while now…ironically I’ve got most of the radio gear already, but his clever backpack layouts and frameworks would make for a sweet retirement project for me😁

@cqcqcqdx Davide, who makes & sells this gear has some great ideas and products. It would be really fun to build one up! bagbuilds.com

@ernieJohnston It’s weird. The battery. The “pads” that are to be shorted - connected together for 10s. Nothing has reset the IPMI password. So more cables arrive. Blasted VGA graphics card and no VGA monitor around. LoL.

So is there just no way to RESET the PASSWORD via Hardware on SuperMicro Motherboards for the IPMI ? I've done the unpowered power button hold for 15 seconds. I've done the BIOS reset by bridging the two solder pads on the motherboard. I do not have a monitor for this unit.

Afroman testified today in a trial over a defamation lawsuit brought against him by sheriff's deputies who raided his property in Ohio in 2022. Asked why he brought a news crew to the sheriff's station with him, he said he didn't want to get "beat up or Epsteined."

If I told you there was a digital forensics and IR platform that gives security teams deep visibility into Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints, would you believe me? We found 9 vulnerabilities across 4 low-cost IP-KVM vendors. These $30 devices give attackers the equivalent of physical access to everything they connect to. Below the OS, EDR, and pretty much every security control you've deployed.

I feel like people in the comments never deployed digital signage, long term branch OS stuff. That board running a Linux distro or even a stripped down Win7 IOT/Win10 LTSB didn’t need XMP enabled. (With only 4Gb of RAM this was probably a win7 IOT box.
