Salesforce is finished I built my own CRM from scratch all it took was: • a team of 47 engineers • custom AWS infrastructure • 6 months of development costs $85,000/month to maintain but I'm saving $150/month per seat for my 3 sales reps

@Abmankendrick Great start, now let me put in 1..n brand colors and build the design system from that.

UI/UX Designers, this might be one of the cleanest color palette generators I’ve seen lately. Supa Colors is a platform that helps you generates palettes where every shade looks visually balanced, not just mathematically calculated, making it much easier to create color systems that actually feel right in real interfaces. @eliana_jordan It is a hot take, but nonetheless a very wrong take. Boring SaaS is dying… it doesn’t scale, isn’t flexible, and can’t adapt to individuals. You postulate that the 30+ year old way of creating software is as good as it can ever be. Laughable!

@SawyerMerritt The future is ugly gold plastic due to a fetish with Blade Runner. Some decisions are bad. In the age of AI where people say they are unique because they have taste, it is not all good taste.

Think of if you had a dedicated Optimus robot using your computer. You can think of Digital Optimus as an Optimus robot that uses your computer. Digital Optimus watches your computer to take actions and process a shot-term context window of information. This allows it to be fast, responsive, and quickly process video… this mirrors what the Optimus robot does in navigating environments and using tools. The longer horizon planning and processing is done in the xAI cloud using Grok. The AI4 chip can power the Optimus robot and can also power Digital Optimus. It is unclear how this is connected to the local network, but a rational thought would be to package it in a Mac-mini like package and plug it in to a computer it will use. Those details are missing.

@Abmankendrick For applications, you need a lot of colors… a neutral gray, warm neutral, cool neutral. Red, orange, green, yellow, blue status colors. Your primary and secondary brand colors, and a pallet of colors for charts/graphs, and supporting colors for marketing materials.

I’ve been playing with generators for a long time. It is actually very easy to create a single color generator. Unfortunately the challenge for generators and humans is getting a whole pallet of 3 neutrals, 4 status colors and 12 distributed hues generated. Let me know when that gets cracked. I bet it will happen soon.

It is a rocket ship for the mind. I get to explore a lot more ideas, get to interactive states fast, do big revisions effortlessly, worry less about manual alignments, ensure components are perfectly implemented, implement natural language interfaces, streamline user flows using agentic actions, and envision software that was never before possible.

I almost always s have four terminals working. I always do planning before execution, so two are usually planning, two are executing, and in between I’m checking their work. If I don’t have an immediate feature in mind I’ll also have them work on writing documentation, adding website content, finding optimizations, doing audits, etc.

When I'm coding with agents, I'm usually just giving the agent one thing to work on at a time. When the agent is done with that, I prompt it to work on the next thing, and so on. Every now and then I'll kick off a second agent to work in parallel on something that's unrelated, but it's rare. Don't think I've ever had 3+ agents working in parallel. For those of you who are often running multiple agents at the same time, I would love to learn about the type of tasks you're having them work on and just in general what your workflow is. I like the idea of running 10+ agents at once like some power users on here seem to do, I just can't wrap my head around incorporating that ability into my day-to-day workflow.

@WesRoth It makes no sense to be as expensive as it is… and a huge part of that is the human cost. I will foregoing the human touch for an AI to accurately diagnose and console me if it means I can get annual full body MRIs. It is a no brainer. Gate-keeping can pound sand!

Remember when everyone said AI was going to completely replace radiologists? Dario Amodei just broke down exactly why that hasn't happened yet and what it means for the future of your career. Instead of wiping out the job, AI just ate the highly technical part (reading the scans), forcing humans to pivot entirely to the "human touch" (patient care). Amodei believes we need to adapt to AI step-by-step as it evolves. However, he didn't sugarcoat the endgame: he admitted it is highly likely that AI will eventually beat us at everything, including physical robotics.

The lack of progress on the AI chat interfaces is aggravating. We’ve had communication tools for a long time. There are lots of established patterns here… threading, quotes, etc… and new agentic controls like planning, tool use. Let’s see some improvements this year. @gdb @jenny_wen

If one is to use the term “First Nations” or “Indigenous Peoples” or “Native Americans” in the Americas and Antipodes, then, in fairness, it should also apply to English, French, Spanish and other such peoples in Europe

my least favorite Apple Watch feature is the one I want the most - reminders to record workouts like I’ve been walking for 3 hours and you managed to catch the last 20 minutes of it and I wanted to see so I said yes and now you’re gonna sync this eighth-assed record-keeping to my strava you bastard

Gonna start a new challenge to level up my product design skills: Build a new app idea every week with Anything. Just cool concepts i want to explore. If there's one that gets ALOT of traction here on X then I'll ship that for my 2nd app 🚀

The gold Cybercab was clearly designed in a sterile environment. Place that car in any American town and it looks like trash. The car blends in with the dirty sidewalks, telephone poles, muddy snow, and rusted crap on the sides of the roads. There is no luxury or refined feel about it. Gold is a terrible color for a car and is out of touch with real life and only looks appealing at all in an environment of modern glassy buildings at night. The promo videos are going to reflect this fact.

Nothing humbles you like telling your OpenClaw “confirm before acting” and watching it speedrun deleting your inbox. I couldn’t stop it from my phone. I had to RUN to my Mac mini like I was defusing a bomb.
