Koningsdag en 4 en 5 mei komen er weer aan, vakantie dus! Helaas onzeker, want reizen is duurder, luchtvaartmaatschappijen cancelen door tekort aan brandstof of vanwege te veel gevaar op bepaalde routes. Vakantie in eigen land is ook al niet te betalen. Toch wordt het weer een leuke 2 weken. Je hoeft geen verplichte bezoekjes meer te doen, want te duur. Efteling is al helemaal uit den boze want geen parkeerkorting meer. Sowieso is winkelen passé met de parkeertarieven in de binnensteden.
Maar sterker nog, juist door de beroving op klaarlichte dag wordt je aandacht gericht op hoeveel de dingen kosten. Of omgekeerd, hoeveel heb je ergens voor over? Is het wel prioriteit? Heb je het écht nodig? Kan je niet zonder? Wat opvalt is dat heel veel uitgaven bespaard kunnen worden.
Nu zou je daar stress van kunnen krijgen, van alles wat je wel zou willen maar toch niet koopt. Je kan er ook het spel van inzien, welke activiteiten kosten vrijwel niks en geven voldoening? Fietsen, wandelen, met vrienden praten, boeken lezen, muziek luisteren, sporten.
Aan deze lijst valt op dat het vrijwel allemaal volledig analoog kan. Dat is het geheim: als jij met je eigen lichaam beweegt, je verplaatst, focust, praat, zingt, danst en daar andere mensen die datzelfde willen bij betrekt, dan is dat gratis en ook nog eens buiten de overheid; gewoon je eigen leven zonder bemoeienis.
Natuurlijk zal je hier en daar een gsm moeten gebruiken, een stukje moeten reizen met de auto, een boek kopen etc. Maar toch, als je de focus op het analoge houdt, spaar je veel geld uit en gaat de kwaliteit van je leven flink vooruit.
Ik hoop jullie ergens op het strand of in het bos te zien met een koel hoofd en een warm hart.
