@ChillaxBcn No way. That leads to linguistic anarchy. Standards must be maintained.
English

@Dutchbazz Think outside the box. Go with the times. Not the past 😀
English

@ChillaxBcn You must have them in German. You wouldn't say Gabel und Messer.
English

@ChillaxBcn Only one thing Frank. Whilst these two items of cutlery are missing, knife & fork is an irreversible binomial and should always be used in this word order. You wouldn't say breakfast & bed, another example.
English

@ArfurSmith Not on Transnistrian TV Arfur. The TV station there has been showing hours of Slavic ice cabbage smashing.
English

@Deborahj_Powell Indeed Deborah. I would hate to think that for those of us with new nationalities and have seen things in the UK head in a downward spiral over the last 10 years, will see a wave of Brexiteers swarming across the border into Spain. P.S. Such people call it a boarder (sic)😁
English

@Dutchbazz They're moving the border to the airport, so it won't become a backdoor. I imagine they might even be stricter as that move has met with opposition. I suppose you mean to overstay the 90/180 day thing, as they are still allowed to travel within the Schengen area. 😅

From “defecating squirrels”, White Parrots and 4-hour Putin press conferences to racing round the globe, being questioned by Russian police and repeatedly harassed by state TV crews, Our Man In Moscow charts 12 months in the life of the BBC’s Moscow team and Russia Editor Steve Rosenberg – most of it shot ourselves given no other BBC teams could get into Russia.
For those in the UK, you can watch it at 8pm on BBC1 tonight or right now on iPlayer:

@Deborahj_Powell @DailyPicTheme2 Buy a monthly Abono Único for €60 Deborah. You'll then become a ferroequinologist very quickly.
English

@DailyPicTheme2 Well tomorrow's theme is going to be very challenging as I haven't been on a train for nearly 10 years 🤣🤣

@SimonCalder "Shambolic" being the correct word to describe this London to Birmingham shuttle Simon. It's up there with the California High Speed Rail Project for massive budget and target date overruns.
English

HS2.
The shambolic high-speed rail project won't start running between London and Birmingham until the mid-2030s.
Legs to Manchester and Yorkshire have been scrapped, but rail minister says he envisages trains leaving Euston for “most of northern England”.

@GlobeEyeNews Great idea. Automatic EU membership as took place with the BRD and DDR. Ditch Transnistria and move forward.

@BBCNewsnight Compared to the other panellists, she had very little to add last night.

@SimonCalder Great news. Maybe travellers should also be required to wear aviator style sunglasses.
