@ripe0x When platforms existed how they were designed (Pre-Base/L2) Era, It made sense to use them, since discovery was organic,feeds & features created a healthy experience, when rodeo/zora/sound pivoted to scale, they created systems and feeds that incentivized & rewarded bots (1/2)

the expensive part of an nft platform isn’t the smart contracts, it’s indexing it all so it works at scale but what if it didn’t need to scale? maybe there’s a more sustainable model where artists pay a small amount to support the frontend and get their stuff indexed that would enable the infra to stay up without needing to take fees from auctions or mints

@zunaito @tekdotlun I don’t even mind online anymore. Times have changed drastically, you let a few seconds of an og sample play on ig/tiktok/youtube, auto content I.d. Immediately clips you anyway. It’s sad, because even non creators get punished for signal boosting. Out of characters :/
