@EddySigfried@ericmmatheny You are fucking wrong. Most choose to be homeless because pay is shit and they decided they werent going to slave their life away for nothing.
There wasnt a homeless problem in the 60's
@DvBrk@ericmmatheny Wrong, simply wrong. Most “homeless”, though agreed not all, are there by effective choice, choice they may not think they make, but that is what it is. Exceptions are the truly mentally ill who are incapable of rational thought.
Being poor is not a crime.
Using drugs in public; treating a sidewalk as a toilet; harassing and assaulting bypassers; destroying the quality of life for law-abiding taxpayers is.
Homelessness is a social blight.
Not a humanitarian crisis.
@LocalWobbly@bonliooo@redpillb0t Holy fuck you're a moron... Not a single rich person lost a single cent over these fires, nor will they.
What a fucking loser
@hungryhungryhhh@dissidentwest What the fuck does that have to do with anything... Not lowering the price out of greed doesnt mean it isnt factored in now.
Everyone wants to argue just to argue anymore. Get a life
@DvBrk@dissidentwest If you genuinely think if property taxes get eliminated, rent will go down, I have a bridge to sell you. In covid the prices surged, were raised as a "temporary adjustment" but never lowered, companies kept the new prices saying "customers are used to paying this price now"
I love it when people defend property taxes with the line “how else are we going to maintain our roads and infrastructure, bucko??”
Oh idk maybe with the 5000 other taxes we already pay.
@LocalWobbly@bonliooo@redpillb0t Lol... Burn down ALL warehouses. I dont care... The ceo's dont care... The politicians dont care.
The only people your hurting are you and you fellows surfs... I have no fucks to give
When i first heard that Income Taxes were voluntary, Trust me i was skeptical too.
But after over 30 years of experience, research and battles with the IRS..
I can tell you with 100% confidence that income taxes are voluntary.
The IRS is relying on the fact that you will stay afraid of them and ignorant of the truth.
Free yourself from the chains of the IRS and stop being a slave to this corrupted system!
This man breaks down GM’s big announcement: starting with new models and fully rolling out by 2028, Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac will phase out Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
He notes that it looks like every manufacturer is going to go this same route. Instead, you’ll have to pay a monthly subscription fee just to use basic dashboard features like navigation, texting, Spotify, or Apple Music in your own car — even after you’ve already paid for the vehicle.
This really hit home for me about how so many big companies are finding new ways to nickel-and-dime us with ongoing subscriptions for things we used to get for free. It makes me wonder — when the time comes, will I pay for their dashboard service, or will I just keep using my phone directly for navigation and music?
Have you seen this kind of shift with car manufacturers or other companies lately?
