As we speak, Trump is pressuring the state of Texas to rig its Congressional maps to put more Republicans in office. This is a significant uptick in Trump’s attacks on democracy. If you can’t win an election, then you rig it. If he can do it in Texas, he can do it anywhere.

The Governor of Texas is threatening to remove democratically elected officials from office because they have refused to rig an election for Donald Trump. United States of America, 2025.
