Youth sports has become one giant money grab.
Last weekend, my son was selected as his team’s MVP by the opposing coach after a tournament game, a really cool honor that meant a lot to him.
Today, I got an email congratulating him and offering an “exclusive” MVP Camp invitation because of that recognition.
Sounds exciting… until you open the details.
It’s two days, three hours each day, for $225 per player.
It feels like every accomplishment in youth sports has turned into another sales pitch. Make an all-star team? Pay. Get invited to a showcase? Pay. Win an award? Here’s another opportunity… to pay.
Kids deserve to have their achievements celebrated without every milestone becoming another revenue stream.

I can easily refute the general's entire premise in two sentences: 1. DEI is an explicitly Marxist, wholly destructive, un-American and discriminatory political doctrine born in the pedagogy of the Ivy League. 2. An entire generation of US military leaders reached the top ranks of the US military via civilian fellowships, and these generals and admirals wholly and completely embraced the destructive force of DEI, without challenge or question. The idea that GOFOs are immune from un-American politicization is not supported by recent history.

I spoke to my old friend Lindsey Graham this morning, the senior Senator from South Carolina. He’s still recovering in the hospital. We talked for just shy of 20 minutes … about IRAN, UKRAINE, the unfolding situation in MAINE, my visit to the William Henry Harrison Presidential Library, and even a little bit of Senate history. I told him we want to see him back at work as soon as possible.
