I thought Season 2 of Beef was really good. Lee Sung Jin is brilliant. Not easy following up a really good first season. The only show that comes to mind who's recently executed a good S1&2 is White Lotus. Oscar Isaac and Cary Mulligan were excellent. Whoever is in charge of casting crushed it. I always thought Isaac would've blown up after Ex Machina. He was perfect for this. If I had to be critical I'd say the end dragged out a bit. Could have been 1 if not 2 episodes shorter, but S1 was 10 and S2 was 8 so we'll take it. Netflix has been shit lately. Every original is corny and cheesy, and the documentaries feel overproduced. Beef and the Untold series are the best thing they've got in my opinion. I'm glad this delivered.
