Spent from dawn till dusk on Anglesey in search of the Royal Tern with no luck at the evening roost amongst the Common Gulls, hopefully this bird will get picked up else where

Fun few days in Khao Yai NP which brought up my 3000th species of bird, which happened to be an Asian Brown Flycatcher of all things! 😂 #TheyAllCount

AMERICAN ROYAL TERN appeared a couple of times in flight before alighting on the sand and then showed exceptionally well - only taking flight when the incoming tide covered its sandbank. Showed again three times later (Traeth Lligwy) @AngBirdNews @AngleseyBirdman

Just listened to @andreajenkyns on @BBCr4today ........and, well it is fair to say I did not like her very much !!

@TobyWarbler @AngBirdNews I recall twitching the Porthmadog Elegant Tern with @AlanDaviesbirds in 2002. We arrive on site and see a crowd of birders chatting. “Has it been seen?” “No mate we’ve been here for ages!” Alan lifts bins and scans the nearest group of roosting terns... guess what he finds? 😂

Seriously who would WANT to be Prime Minister trying to sort out this mess that we are in ( my own opinion) and trying to lead a fractious and weak government ? #ToryBrexitshambles #toryleadership
