Ron Howard used to be a director capable of making #Oscar caliber films like A Beautiful Mind. What the hell happened? And don’t you dare accuse me of “hating for clicks”, I’m genuinely asking- when was the last time Ron Howard made a great film? It’s felt like an eternity.

Sean Penn’s spent a lifetime making great films. It’s why he owns two Oscars for Best Actor- something one of his acting idols & my favorite actor Jack Nicholson can also claim. Penn’s performance in Mystic River is a piece of acting history by now. He deserves a third for OBAA.

I agree that she’s a bad actor, but it’s cultural amnesia to pretend like people weren’t falling over themselves to say how much they liked her in that first Wonder Woman movie.
