My parents started managing my diabetes in 1993 (pre-short acting insulin and insulin pumps). We heard a lot of nonsense about what I would be able to accomplish as a child with diabetes. Yesterday, I graduated from @EmoryMedicine as Dr. Dylan Martini. They never had a doubt.

This is Mason Miller. He went from Division III and Type 1 Diabetes to sitting 100mph in the MLB . Yet - most don't know how he got there. Here's his behind the scenes story (that you need to hear):
