@DonachODonnell That was not a “shoulder to chest” he ran into his shoulder - there is a difference,the “strikes with hurl” were attempts to dispossess ball. Hurling is a contact game,if we blow every little bit of contact/tackle attempt it will turn into a free taking contest.Let the game flow.

Serious question to coaches and referees. Shoulder to chest followed by a bit of a kick then 3 strikes with a Hurley result no free player disposed and lim score. Why should a coach try to coach tackling without fouling , why try to coach legal contact when that is allowed ?
