An elevated risk of severe weather remains in place across the Mid-Atlantic and parts of the Ohio Valley this upcoming Friday (7/17). While models continue to shift south, it should be noted that if this southward shift continues, storms would not have as much shear to work with, and it would lessen the chance of any severe weather occurring.
