Summary of 2025/2026 It has been an intriguing and rewarding season for me. First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to James Barlow & Emmanuel Boudine for giving me the opportunity to work within the Portsmouth FC Academy, which ultimately allowed me to complete my UEFA A Licence. Due to my family’s relocation, remaining within the EPPP system was a significant challenge, but it was essential for my coaching development. Without a role in the EPPP structure, my UEFA A Licence application would be declined. Having waited and applied for this opportunity for nearly eight years, it meant a great deal to finally achieve it. I hope to sign off in June! Keep your fingers crossed! This season also marked my return to the Foundation Phase, where I worked with the U11 group alongside Martyn Pearce (Thanks for cooperation! Enjoyed it a lot). The last time I coached this age group was around 2015 — nearly 11 years ago. Initially, I was unsure whether my coaching profile would suit this age category, but I embraced the challenge with enthusiasm and a commitment to giving my absolute best to the players. I can now confidently say that, in terms of enjoyment, this has been one of the best seasons of my coaching career. I genuinely loved every training session and every match with our young players. They have been outstanding throughout the season, and I am now looking forward to receiving player feedback to help summarise and evaluate our work together. In addition, I had the privilege of working across several age groups at Pompey from time to time, including U7, U8, U10, U12, U13, and U14. This provided me with valuable experiences and further broadened my development as a coach. I thoroughly enjoyed my study visit to Lithuania & Norway, as well as all of my coach development meetings, CPD events, webinars, and the countless coaching conversations I had with coaches from around the world. What’s Next? ◾ Application for the Advanced Youth Award (AYA) ◾ Application for the UEFA A Elite Youth Licence (if unsuccessful with the AYA) ◾ Beginning the process of registering interest for the UEFA Pro Licence across different federations in Europe. ◾ Study visits to Mjällby AIF in Sweden (June) and Sporting de Gijón in Spain (November). ◾ Starting my new role with the The English Football Association as a Casual Grassroots Coach Developer. ◾ Organising my first-ever coaching conference in England in June. Follow Football Courses for more info. ◾ Continuing my journey at Portsmouth FC Academy, where my long-term aim is to remain in this environment for at least the next six years ◾ Continuing to deliver monthly webinars for coaches from around the world, free of charge, with the aim of making football knowledge more accessible to everyone. Follow Football Courses for more! ◾ SELF-REFLECTION. 😁 ◾ SELF-REFLECTION. 😁 ◾ SELF-REFLECTION. 😁

2 years in senior management. 3 trophies. 🏆 League title 🏆🏆 Two cups Made some good decisions, made some bad ones, but every experience has helped me grow as a manager and as a person. Still plenty to learn and improve on, but I can’t complain about the start to my journey.

Gut wrenching way to finish, proud of what the guys have achieved, against all odds. 6 major injuries, batting huge budgets, 1 loss in 2026, 10 points off play offs at Christmas.. then to finish with a +9 gap. Thank you to our loyal support, it wouldn’t be possible without you 🚃
