Democrats shut down DHS and are withholding funding for FEMA, TSA, and the Coast Guard to try to stop the deportation of violent criminals who are here illegally. DHS has removed the worst of the worst, including from North Alabama, with individuals charged with homicide, sexual exploitation of a minor, aggravated assault, and more.

What an amazing blessing to have visited the site of Christ's death and resurrection. I am immensely grateful to to the Greek, Armenian, and Catholic priests who care for this most sacred of places. May the Prince of Peace have mercy on us, and bless our efforts for peace.

Today’s so-called “No Kings” protest in D.C. is another example of liberals’ misplaced priorities. Democrats are fine to let the Capitol Police stand watch over what is really just a “Hate America Rally,” but refuse to ensure those same officers get paid on time.

People in North Alabama and all over our country are struggling. Yet, Democrats insist that "every day gets better" while ignoring the real damage being done. @HouseGOP and @HouseAppropsGOP have provided a clean Continuing Resolution to ease this suffering. When will the Democrats stop using the American people as political pawns?

This shutdown could end today if Democrats would support the clean continuing resolution to fund the government. On behalf of the hardworking North Alabamians I represent, I urge them to put aside politics and put the American people first.

My fiancé and I went to mass this morning. It was so packed that we had to stand in the lobby. This is a church that has two services every morning. We’re witnessing something incredible. As Charlie Kirk so greatly wanted, let’s work to make Heaven crowded. Christ. Is. King.

The Big, Beautiful Bill that passed the House includes huge wins for the 2A community. I'm glad the Hearing Protection Act, which I proudly cosponsored, was included. It also repeals the unconstitutional tax and registration of suppressors. The Second Amendment is non-negotiable, and I will always fight for our right to keep and bear arms.
