If you want to argue public spaces should not be used for worship - because that’s exclusionary - fine. But condemning just one religious group, in this case Muslims, is bigotry. I’m not sure what the debate is.

Hodges always maintains he called out Johnson's lies.. he didn't and i pointed it out and got blocked ! We could list literally hundreds of Johnson lies ,Hodges couldnt reach 5 with Starmer...

1) why are you calling a former Prime Minister by his first name in a national tabloid? 2) why do you make excuses for all of the former Prime Ministers you accuse of lying? 3) you haven’t even remotely conclusively proved that Starmer has lied. 4) I’ve said I think it’s possible for a Prime Minister to make a mistake(s) and not have to resign. I don’t think the country would be served by Starmer resigning now and I don’t think he will resign. 5) You don’t seem to like Starmer very much. You’ve literally had a tweet about him pinned to your profile for years. You appear desperate for him to resign and for your prediction that he wouldn’t last beyond May to be proved correct.

There are now 6 B-52 Stratofortress bombers and 12 B-1B Lancers conducting bombing missions on Iran from UK bases. We are told by the Government these strikes are solely "defensive" in nature.

Genuine question. When was the last occasion in British history where UK troops and military forces came under repeated attack from the armed forces of a foreign state, and the UK Prime Minister specifically ordered the UK military to not to respond offensively.

There are a lot of sordid things about the Mandelson affair. But the spectacle of Jess Phillips debasing herself in defence of the indefensible is right up there. Imagine what she would be saying if it was a Tory Prime Minister at the centre of this.

Currently away, and just catching up on the Mandelson docs. The key issue for me is this. On 10 September, 2025 Starmer told the House “full due process was followed during this appointment, as it is with all ambassadors”. The Powell note shows beyond doubt that was a lie.

I learned so much about film, art, and culture from Channel 4 in the 90s as a teen. It was a groundbreaking channel and, pre-internet, a god send for discovery. Such a shame that it became a reality TV repository.

Back in around 1996/7 (yes it's 30years ago!) Channel 4 was still quite an alternative arty channel. Between 11pm and 5am it used to show arty foreign and British films, which I recorded on VCR whilst asleep. They had few ad breaks at that ungodly hour as well. Good drama!
