the A plot in this episode is that clark wants to volunteer at a blood drive hosted by lana but he has to lie to keep his powers hidden, while the B plot is a lex luthor love triangle where one girl is british and the other is The Invisible Man. i think this is the best show ever

imagine if they had said something like lungbarrow or scherzo in this scene. hugely popular but not the single one story every single listicle names as the number one. they’re supposed to be us, so this scene really was an opportunity to name something truly deep-cut.

Blink will of course wow casual viewers as there’s zero prior knowledge needed. But I’d say most hardcore fans are naturally gonna connect more to episodes centred on THEIR favourite characters, villains, mythology etc Hence why this lot felt so cringe and performative

DotD is intended to be post-WoM, but I find it more interesting if the events of the Day unconsciously influenced Ten in Waters.
His recent, greatest moment in the Time War - that feeling of victory - mixing with the "memory" of annihilation. Changing him into a worse person.
