I was molded by great coaches + role models at a young age. Shaped my character as a competitor. Hence why I believe mentorship is so vital for young athletes. At some point skill alone will run out & the separator is sheer competitive will power coupled with the mental game. Sometime that many do not realize nonetheless train until it is too late.

Sometimes I look back at old video and can’t believe that kid, with that swing, ended up at Clemson and led the ACC in OBP at .507. It reminds me how far you can go when you keep showing up, keep learning, and find the right guidance. That is why I’m so passionate about helping younger versions of myself. I want to help young men close the gap between where they are and where they want to be. So, they don’t have to waste years guessing, overthinking, and learning everything the hard way like I did.
