This is very likely a war crime and a violation of U.S. military law. It is Putin-like behavior. If you are an Airman or Naval Aviator I highly suggest you think hard about carrying out an order to strike a civilian power plant. Under the Geneva Conventions, you can’t target civilian infrastructure just to harm civilians which includes power plants serving homes, hospitals, and water are protected. That being said if they support military systems, they CAN become legitimate targets. But even then, if civilian harm outweighs the military gain, it can still be a war crime. That is called proportionality. This comes after Hegseth said no quarter which is also a war crime and a violation of U.S. military law.

I maybe be stupid…. But I never understood why we don’t use the fullscreen for film on widescreen TVs. The black bars made sense when it was widescreen on a 4:3 screen. Why is all that space unused for home releases? Minus the few 4Ks that include imax switching.
