Devastating news.. unfortunately I'm Thunderstruck had to be euthanised this afternoon following arthroscopic fetlock surgery. He suffered a catastrophic knee injury whilst getting up after general anaesthetic. On behalf of all our owners and staff we are heartbroken. 💔

@danielbowen Whilst we with an eye on the industry will agree… But to the many who catch the train every day to the city this is a massive win! I’d love to see more high freq bus routes that compliment the existing rail network.

Hot take: Fare affordability is important, but this amount of money spent on service upgrades would have far more effect at growing patronage — especially in the outer suburban areas likely to have household budget pressures and largely infrequent unusable bus services.
