What an unforgettable experience in the skies with RAF Cranwell! Six of our RAF cadets got the chance to take control of the aircraft, soaring above the sunny Lincolnshire countryside for 20 minutes. A massive thank you to RAF Cranwell for making it happen. #GoFurther

93 years ago, the course of nuclear physics took a new turn when John Cockcroft and Ernest Walton split the atom⚛️ using a particle accelerator for the first time. This achievement earned them the @nobelprize in Physics in 1951. More about accelerators: atoms.iaea.org/484wSyZ
