Love spending 10 months revising a paper multiple times for the same journal and different reviewers to then be told you’ve done everything we asked but sorry it’s still been rejected. Ahhh life 😭

Nothing I hate more than going to see a doctor / A&E as another doctor and feeling belittled and made to feel stupid by a triage nurse and having to pull the I’m actually a doctor card. No wonder non-medics get so annoyed about the NHS and their experiences 😢

Can I stay in Spain? Seeing the ridiculous scary events going on in the UK, the end of my maternity leave and standard NHS rota crap is making me want to run away and never return 😫

2 weeks till maternity leave finish. How time flies! Was looking forward to going back but with 2 weeks to go we’ve still not got a rota and I’m rapidly reminded about all the worst parts of our job 🤦🏼‍♀️ #nhslife

Finished my final ever shift in Surgery today 😕 difficult decision to leave but health definitely comes first! Excited for medicine in August and then hopefully onto GP training 🤞

Such a joke. Have spent all day talking to various people to figure out how to get money back & no one seems able to help. What a waste of time. Avoid @ExpediaUK as you clearly pay for services that cant be provided & we cant even stay there as nowhere for the baby to sleep 🤦🏼‍♀️🤬

Booked hotel via @ExpediaUK for with our 9 month old that clearly states cot available on request in multiple places. Had message from hotel saying no cot so we can’t stay. But because I booked a non refundable room Expedia say I can’t cancel without losing all my money (1)

A mere 15.5yrs following my graduation, this week I got my outcome 6 & have CCTd in General & colorectal surgery. Thanks to all who have supported me, it's been a team effort. Good news is that I will continue to make questionable decisions. Not clinically but defo elsewhere.

@British_Airways What does mid-travel mean? We had to travel to LHR from home & were told our flight yday was cancelled as we arrived at the airport - surely this counts & we arent expected to go back to Wales & then return. Staff in T5 said we could stay in a hotel. I hope this is correct.

First holiday as family of 3 going well..stranded at Heathrow with a 27 hour delay due to cancelled flight 🤦🏼‍♀️🫠 Gotta love @British_Airways 😭 Person on phone very unhelpful about help we’re entitled too, and only given leaflet at airport with very unclear advice about costs 🤬

@British_Airways Hi Beth, yday we were told £25pp every 24 hours & £12.50per child. It’s v. confusing when staff tell you different things. One person said £200pp for hotel, one said £200 per room & another said it’s covered as long as reasonable & justified. Why does no one seem to know? 😫🙄

@British_Airways @British_Airways The team to help rebook were very helpful - the problem is being at Heathrow with a 3 month old until 7pm tomorrow (27 hours after our original flight) with no clear guidance on compensation/expenses with only very expensive airport hotels and food as options.

On #WorldPrematurityDay a huge thank you to the obstetric, NICU, paediatric cardiology, surgical & anaesthetic teams at @CV_UHB for looking after my brave boy born at 32 weeks in Sept. We received incredible care over the 6 weeks spent on NICU - now enjoying having him home 🩵
