@ESEMMEL33 Toughest lefty in the state in this class. Plays in a power high school baseball conference where game in and game out it’s a dog fight.

Mitch Voit Payton Jibben Bobby Berrera Mason Buss just to name a few I am talking about the 2026 class I have never seen anything like this in 35 years I have seen the same all summer d 1 commits that do not win a summer game. It’s across the region in that class.

@hittersbaseba11 Show me a player you got from HS to D1 in last 3 years that T88 and locates 3 pitches, holds runners, mixes timing, wins games.

Eric what is your problem This has nothing to do with me you ass it is about kids chasing velo and not being able to pitch. I have kids at Hitters. Chasing velo and not throwing strikes or getting anybody out was my comment I have had enough of people like you Eric go away
Eric Brown@EBbaseball29

@jimwilson2569 @beth_tim @hittersbaseba11 In state Tennessee recruit, LHP T88. If he was from WI, nobody goes after him. It’s hard to get out of WI. That’s why RJ can’t come up with D1 T88 guy from Hitters. I’m not criticizing, it’s what it is.

@hittersbaseba11 Not calling anyone anything. I’m just saying D1 won’t take T88 guy. You haven’t proven that statement false. So velo matters. Not trying to be difficult. It’s what it is. I know 5 top pitchability guys that T88 and D1 won’t look. Madison, UWL, B/S win!

Ok Eric here you go the statement was about d 1 comments in our state that can’t win a game and that is the flat out truth if you want to call me out feel free I speak the truth
Eric Brown@EBbaseball29

@hittersbaseba11 “Statement today had nothing to do with d1” you said keep their money. Most money in college is at D1.

Eric I have never sold a player to a d1 school all have earned it on their own. I got a big bet Cal Schnieder tops out at 85 will get 1 offers this August watch and see. He has earned it and never ever tell me or my players they can’t. My statement today had nothing to with d1
Eric Brown@EBbaseball29

@beth_tim @hittersbaseba11 It’s a power game. You need it all. You can’t teach a hitter exit velo. Takes years to build as they learn how to hit. Same with pitching. Velo sells, pitch ability keeps you there. You need both. That’s why RJ can’t sell T88 to D1.

@beth_tim @hittersbaseba11 You proved my point. Number(velo) gets you looks. You need velo. You also need pitch ability. But strikes at 82 get zero. Strikes at 85 as a sophomore get opportunity. Strikes at 88 fall of freshman year sent packing. It’s still velo. It’s a numbers game.

@EBbaseball29 @hittersbaseba11 85 will get him offers. Those coaches watched it with their own eyes. Players and parents have to stop chasing numbers, numbers get you looks, not always offers.

@EBbaseball29 @hittersbaseba11 Strikes matter! Can’t win if you give up free bases, pretty simple fact. Kids need to quit chasing velo early in their careers and learn how to pitch. Velo will come! Same for Hitters, if hitters try to hit for power, success rate will dwindle. Power comes with age!!

@hittersbaseba11 Love Bauerschmidt and is going to be great. But he’s a ‘25 that’s 92+. Not a T88 guy.

Ethan Bauerschmidt and Josh Holtz both strike throwers that win

@hittersbaseba11 You name solid pitchers. Huge fan of Voit and Buss. I don’t know other two. Both T90+ in HS. Jibben has T89 in PG. My point is velo matters. D1 doesn’t buy 88 and pitch ability. They just don’t.

It just amazes me that our 2026 class in our state programs across the region all have pitchers just chasing velo. None win games all train at same place. Maybe learn to pitch and win a game throw strikes keep your college money. No one cares how hard you throw ball 4. Just Win

My eyes were opened to this by @smacball4. Playing with one hand & freedom have been a huge staple for the @stiksacademy infielders over the past couple years. Let’s the athlete dictate their hops while also staying in rhythm. Have seen great strides made by our young athletes!!
PicknPivot@PicknPivot

Phillies minor league infielders getting work in Check out their angles and ability to play with one hand. There is freedom and confidence in playing one handed Note the lefty fungo, important to get GB’s from both sides of the plate  #PicknPivot
