As it stands today, NC State is a better basketball program than LSU.
However, LSU is a MUCH bigger brand with much deeper resources that is backed by a new regime that clearly is going all in to win. With Wade, LSU basketball can be on par with, if not better than, NC State.
Brand matters and LSU is THE brand.

I really think @CoachLukeMurray would love coaching @BCMBB He can focus on X and Os and just winning 🏀 games. He does not need to do much off the court activities and can blend into Boston. @UConnMBB is the pro team in CT.
With BC, fans will focus on the @celtics in April and the @RedSox all summer. Throw in the @Patriots in the Fall, @BCMBB could dominate Jan to March but not a 12 month pressure cooker. #JustWin
