@ECASROSA Director @EuniceKamwendo convened a meeting with @ECASROSA, @UNDPZambia , and #PAWEN to explore support for the Pan African Women Entrepreneurs Network (PAWEN), which drives women-led enterprises, domestic and regional trade across Africa.
The focus was moving beyond policy talk to real #AfCFTA implementation, empowering women & youth to participate fully in regional & global markets.
PAWEN was born out of the @ECASROSA-supported #SheTrades capacity-building workshop held in Mauritius in 2025, in partnership with the Economic Development Board of Mauritius. A practical outcome. A continental vision.

Today, we celebrate women’s progress and confront the gaps that remain. Our economies thrive when women realise their full potential. From tech and climate to data, women must be at the cente; And we must remove the barriers that hold them back!
Happy #InternationalWomensDay !
Give to Gain: Equal access to farm inputs could boost women’s yields by 20–30% and cut global hunger by 100–150 million people.
Empowering women farmers strengthens Africa’s entire agrifood system.
