@compost50 @hockeystudman @ECVHornets Not many players know what a yard is where as the majority of umpires do!! Wonder what the overall average of an umpire in the uk is?!!!

Is anyone surprised that people can't manage 2m apart, no hockey players can work out 5 meters 🤷

Tough game against ISCA C today in the Devon Trophy for the 1s, a well fought and evenly matched game finished 1-1 at full time, 4 flicks scored out of 4 and 2 saves from James in the shootout meant we progress to the semi finals. Thanks to @devonumpires who were great today.

Should mention the @DuchyHC lads were great fun and played the game competitively but in the right spirit.

6-1 win for 1s today v @Dart_HC, dominant display with some well worked team goals. A well deserved hat trick for Conor who was also man of the match for second week running Thanks to @devonumpires for umpiring.

Huge credit to the two @devonumpires today as well. In a game with lots of passion, there were plenty of stick tackles, breaking down of play and professional fouls from both side All managed superbly
