$KAS CLARIFICATION!
So I decided to write this post because I see a lot of fear, disbelief, misinformation and most importantly, lot of stupidity amongst many X accounts.
Last year early November Kaspa has begun to pump and left 0.05 usd area to new level. Since then, the price was basically ranging between 0.09 to 0.21 usd -> this let many people to start questioning the kaspa project and we could see a lot of trash talk and burying this extraordinary project.
I have not seen similar analysis that I am providing here so I had to do it on my own (as usual😂)
Kaspa total supply before November 23 rally: 21.1b
Kaspa mined for 12 months since rally: 3.87b
So we had effective inflation (trueflation) rate of 18.3% from November 23 balance (aka 13.4% from total max supply).
Assuming mean price (based on fixed range volume price in tradingview) of 14 cents we get:
541 682 345 usd of absorbed inflation by the market participants (I know that not all coins mined are directly sold)
Today, we have 25.1b coins mined and inflation in the next 12 months will be 1.72b, which is 6.82% of trueflation (1.72b/25.1b) -> that is aprx. 1/3 of prior year trueflation (6.82%/18.3%)!!!
And since 11/25 to 10/26 it would be only 3% of trueflation.
Or in other words, the TOTAL BALANCE OF ALL COINS TO BE EVER MINED FROM TODAY WILL BE LOWER COMPARED TO NUMBER OF COINS MINED IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS.
Let that sink in, ladies and gentlemen.
In the last 12 months, market has absorbed same amount of coins that will be ever mined in total...and you still think that the price action was poor and terrible, right?
And now consider the following:
- Q1/25 you get finalization of crescendo update and thus 10 bps (fastest chain ever),
- Q2/25 (just my estimate) you get HF for Smart contracts and all the fun can start here.
- Sometime in Q4/25 or early 26 I expected DagKnight going live (and probably some more increase in bps could be expected as well)
Very likely you get a Kraken listing sometime in this quarter and latest Q1/25 another two (@Kaspa_HypeMan told us in recent podcast about 3 T1 integrations he is actively working on)
So to summarize it. You were super lucky to get aware of Kaspa during this "boring" price action period whilst the most important updates are yet to be delivered whilst the trueflation is going to drop from 18.3% to 6.8% and 3% respectively and you are fucking bearish???
Are you insane...Kaspa is going to experience a real supply shock accompanied with the biggest crypto retail reveal ("Guys, there is some new PoW chain that is faster than Solana, has SCs, MEV resistant SCs and all of that on a true fair launch principle...da fak is this?")
So far, Kaspa was accumulated by the smart money and a handful of retail investors who survived the bear market and were not blind enough to fade this once in a decade super tech.
Why do you think the price of Kas has not fell below the 0.1 support -> it is a game theory. You know there are many big players (such as T1 CEXes and MMs) who need to accumulate kaspa before they can list it to masses. As long as 50% drop in price might seem excessive, it is not...kaspa performed much better compared to majority of other projects.
Last, but not least - I have to agree with @christi61026749 who commented the fact that Kaspa was "just" being repriced from zero to top 30 project by market cap -> Lot of people say that Kaspa had its bullrun and it is over -> you really think that VC backed projects with massive preallocation that start at top30/50 ranking are better ROI potential?
All kaspa coins have been mined and went through real market competition. Whereas all these VC backed coins have huge waiting bags from team and VC that they did not have to pay for it a single penny or make a capex and opex through mining.
It is exactly these VC backed coins that are going to dump on you whenever they feel comfortable with a price...remember, they did not pay for that. They can dump at whatever price and still be in profit.
