@OnSidelines LI has a system and it doesn't allow for the arguments that PSAL coaches/admin can make. Too much of that noise in the PSAL. Some teams will dominate and some teams will always struggle. You don't choose your conference or your opponents so you work with what you have.

@bigtone76 @OnSidelines @nycpsal Also it's not just Canarsie. The whole city, state, country. You have a limited # of teams. Some counties have 8-10 teams and everyone plays each other every year and that's how it is. Look at the NY Catholic league. Can't just change it up because its the same teams every year.

@bigtone76 @OnSidelines @nycpsal 16 out of 22 makes the playoffs? Don't agree with that. It doesn't mean the same when 75% of the teams make it. And let's be honest, some of those first round games will be tough to watch. If the PSAL goes back to 3 conferences again (of 20ish per) then 12 teams. Nothing more.

@bigtone76 @OnSidelines @nycpsal How many teams would you need in 4A to make it a 16-team playoff? 24? 32? I don't think there are more than 16 teams that want to be in 4A either.

@OnSidelines @nycpsal Eliminate bye weeks play 8 weeks 4 home 4 away and add more teams to 4A this way they can have a nice full 16 team playoff

@ShotByLJay18 @CoachHoughton7 @jared_valluzzi That's a tough one. Not many small schools that are willing to line up against 5A/6A schools because kids are kids and football is the same. Isn't that why we have these classes based on school size? It's why we have weight classes in combat sports. Not all is created equal.

Info Tech took on Evander Childs on Saturday to close out the varsity football regular season. Solomon Webster Richard and Brandon Ticas both had TD runs for the Blackhawks, and while the Tigers defense was strong, it was Info Tech that pitched a shutout in a 14-0 win.
