Our training on #Epidemiology & #Biostatistics in Dakar, #Senegal continues! We wrapped up last week with participants exploring effect measures, intervention studies, cohort & case-control studies with our experts. We were also pleased to have Prof @AA_Ngwa introducing participants to genetic epidemiology. Week two promises more hands-on sessions! This morning, we introduce participants to our Health Data Research #West Africa platform. HDRWA securely hosts health research data and enables data access to researchers.

On day 2⃣ we are discussing⤵️ 🔸Data manipulation and cleaning 🔸Research databases 🔸REDCap 🔸Data quality metrics 🔸Data reporting and visualisation 🔸Data storage and security The sessions are providing participants with a space for learning and interaction.

Binta Saidy, a Data Manager @mrcunitgambia is leading discussions on how to develop a DMP.
