Quite the 24 hours for trainer Mike Tomlinson. Won his first @ChurchillDowns stakes since 2017 with Harrodsburg on Monday. Just sent Blessed Flyer to a 31-1 upsett of the Bashford Manor. Blessed Flyer a $270K digital auction purchase in May after a KEE debut win in April.

@DRFHersh @DRFHersh just a general question of something I’ve seen across different race tracks, a horse obviously not running in a written race and a higher end jockey will accept the mount anyway: what is the purpose of that?

@DRFHersh This happened one other time and the horse was scratched. McPeek also has close to the favorite in the race so it could happen again.
